Coins and purchases
I bought coins but they didn't show up.
Make sure you're online, then close Hue Out and open it again. Each time it connects, it checks with Apple for any purchase that didn't finish and adds the coins. If they still aren't there, email us with the purchase date.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds for in-app purchases. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds a coin pack, those coins are removed from your balance.
Do coins cost money?
You earn coins by clearing boards, and you can also buy coin packs. Each board gives you a free hint. More hints and extra time cost coins, and the game shows the price before you spend anything.
Why do coins need a connection?
Your coin balance is kept on our server, so coins, hints and extra time need to reach it. The puzzles themselves work offline.
Playing
How are stars earned?
Every level has a par: the fewest moves that clear it. Clear it in par for three stars, or within two moves of par for two. Any clear earns at least one.
Can I turn the timer on or off?
Yes. Open Settings and switch Timed challenges. It adds an optional clock to every level and the daily puzzle. Every board can still be played without it, and the clock stops whenever you pause.
Your data
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings and tap Delete account. This deletes your coin account, its coins, and its purchase and game records from our server, and removes Hue Out's saved progress from this iPhone. It can't be undone, and it doesn't cancel or refund Apple purchases. Deleting the app alone does not delete your coin account.
What data does Hue Out collect?
Read our Privacy Policy. In short: no name, email or ads, and no tracking. Our server keeps only what the coin system needs.
